Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty was an industry leader practicing in Tuscaloosa for over 25 years. His vision for best in class primary care and urgent care fed his passion for best in class care for seniors. Dr. Peramsetty was involved in the senior community for years, including experience as a Medical Director. His compassion for seniors along with his belief in serving with dignity and respect led to his newest innovation, Crimson Village and the Tides at Crimson Village along with The Legacy Assisted Living. His hope, his passion and innovative spirit led to the best in class for the Tuscaloosa Community for care at every stage of life. The Peramsetty Foundation and Crimson Care Network will continue to honor his legacy. Our current operations are as it follows: Alabama Family Medical Center, Allegra Family Clinic, Crimson Care, Crimson Village, First Care, FirstKids Urgent Care, FirstPT Physical Therapy, The Legacy Assisted Living, Tuscaloosa MedSpa, Tuscaloosa Men's Clinic, and Tuscaloosa Weight Loss Center.

​Ramesh Peramsetty MD was a board certified in American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), and in American Board of Bariatric/Obesity Medicine (ABBM/ABOM). He finished his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of various societies including: American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP), American College of Phlebology, American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery, and American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.

The Peramsetty Foundation
Founded August 23, 2024 after the passing of Tuscaloosa Doctor, Founder and CEO Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty, MD
The Peramsetty foundation, established in the name of Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty and the Peramsetty family. This foundation has been created to accept donations from family, friends, community members, and the Crimson Care Network to give back in honor of Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty.
Each year on March 28, the city proclaimed Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty Day, the Peramsetty family will determine a charity to donate to in honor of Dr. Ramesh Peramsetty.

The foundation will be run by his youngest son Rohan Peramsetty.
